Between more reno-/life-stuff I eked out a few minutes to create a panorama of the new duck pond at Assiniboine Park.  This is a view from the south edge looking north... so basically most of this area is "new" up the the centre structure.

It appears that Leo Mol passed away on July 4th. Probably best known by Winnipegers for his work displayed in the Leo Mol sculpture garden at Assiniboine Park, he was quite a prolific sculptor.

I know I used the sculpture garden and attached English Garden for a lot of my summer photos, so it does make me a bit sad to know that Leo is gone.

This morning Amanda and I had a light breakfast and then went down to Assiniboine Park and the Zoo.  The fall colours are great and the day turned out to be amazingly warm.  I'm not certain what it ended up being temperature-wise, but I know it was forecast to be around 27 Celsius... the wind was up a bit but I wasn't complaining!
